The test of water penetration mixture can be done with KSF 2237 Marshal test
equipment to test the resistance on plastic flow of bitumen mixture. and it
should satisfy standards on table-1below. |

8. Manufacturing
Method |

Heated mixing, bitumen mixture. Manufacture with the existing manufacturing
equipment but use the automatic control device for the water penetration
additive and combination. |
9. Test method |

1) Test on the aggregate : Use KSF 2357 and KSF 1247
2) Test on bitumen
material : Use KSM 2201 and KSM 2208
3) Test on bitumen mixture : Use KSF
2337
4) Test on water penetration modulus : Sample material of penetration
asphalt mixture should be made and tested to comply with the following rules.
-water penetration modulus : over CM/SEC |
10. Test and water test

1) Test : Use test record of the penetration asphalt mixture. The requesting
department can execute a intermediate test of the manufacturing process to
confirm the quality.
2)Water test : Use gauge test of measuring tube from
the requesting department. |
11. Others

Consider that the water
penetration asphalt mixture is porous, and the transport distance should be
within 40Km and an hour. | |
