DAMA specification Application   The specification defines DAMA (DAMA:Darin Asphalt Modified Additive), an additive to improve ASPHALT mixture. Ingredient   Thermo plastic resin Rubber from waste tire Miscellaneous additives Appearance : This product is sold in a vinyl bag and of grey powder. Purpose   The product is designed to produce an asphalt mixture that require increased bonding strength and enhanced the quality. (General coarse particle, medium particle, fine particle and special purpose asphalt mixture) Quantity to be used and packing Quantity to be used 0.5¡­1.5% of asphalt mixture in weight Packing 5§¸/10§¸ units, 500§¸ Bag Instruction During preparing for asphalt mixture, pour into the mixer after asphalt is sprayed. (Plant Mix Type) Caution: When producing an asphalt mixture, using this product, the mixing time should be increased by 20 seconds from that of conventional ones. While producing, spraying and Compaction this asphalt mixture powder, the temperature should be controlled to be maintained about 10¡É-20¡É higher than the case of using conventional asphalt mixtures. Pouring DAMA into the mixer should be done after asphalt is injected. This product does not include any toxic agent. A caution should be taken against scattering because it is of fine powder. When skin or eyes areis contaminated with the powder, immediate clean it out with clean water. In case when a large amount is inhaled, consultation with a doctor is necessary. Wearing a mask is recommended when handling this product. As this product contains thermoplastic resin, a care needs to be taken not to be exposed to fire and at a temperature of over 100¡É. This product should be stored in a dry place without direct sunlight where ventilation is good.
